Uni-Con Charity Events holds events that benefit local charities in the form of tabletop (board and pen and paper RPGS) gaming fundraisers. In conjunction with local gaming groups and stores, the charity events raise money by ticket sales and altruistic contributions by attendees like you! Events are held throughout the year for a variety of causes.
The second annual event is being held January 11th & 12th at Collected in Fort Worth TX. This Uni-Con event will be raising money for SafeHaven of Tarrant County. “SafeHaven’s mission is to end domestic violence through safety, support, prevention, and social change.” They have a 93.28% rating from Charity Navigator. They offer shelter, food, education and more to women and children that have fled abusive relationships. They help them rebuild their lives and start anew in safer conditions.
